Olio by Barber Osgerby and Royal Doulton is a miscellaneous collection of things,
reminiscent of found objects and inspired by a sense of craftsmanship and the handmade.
Designed for everyday use, these functional tableware designs come in a colour palette
of graphic black, timeless white and new celadon blue - pick your favourite or mix and
match designs for an eclectic look. Simple yet striking silhouettes that really make a
statement - start collecting these understated clay, wooden and stainless steel pieces
from London designers Edward Barber and Jay Osgerby.
The collection is built from
a combination of materials and surface finishes – the main element being ceramic (using
different clays with both glazed and unglazed details), wood and stainless steel. An
idiosyncratic mix of shapes and materials, the principle idea behind Olio is that it is
not a ‘set’ but a collection – the designs can be used alone but will also sit happily
alongside other objects in your home. With a focus on craftsmanship, this intelligently
designed and considered range includes cutlery, wooden serving pieces and a full
tableware range – all designed for everyday use.
