Delivery Policy
Our delivery partner Australia Post is working hard to ensure you receive your items as quickly as possible.
The best way to track your deliveries is through Australia Post’s mobile app. Get expected delivery dates, localised service updates and stay notified if things change.
You can also track your parcels on auspost.com.au by using the tracking tool.
These Shipping & Delivery Terms apply to purchases made on royaldoulton.com.au, which offers both Royal Doulton Brand and Royal Doulton Outlet products.
1. Determination of Applicable Shipping Policy
Shipping fees, delivery options and eligibility for complimentary shipping are determined by the type of products in your order, as follows:
Brand Products Only
- Orders containing only Royal Doulton Brand products are subject to the Royal Doulton Brand Shipping Policy.
Outlet Products Only
- Orders containing only Royal Doulton Outlet products are subject to the Royal Doulton Outlet Shipping Policy.
Where an order contains both Brand and Outlet products, the Royal Doulton Brand Shipping Policy will apply to the entire order, including all Outlet items.
If your order includes any Royal Doulton Brand product, Brand shipping rates, thresholds and delivery options will apply.
2. Royal Doulton Brand Shipping Policy
(Applicable to Brand‑only orders and mixed orders)
Complimentary Shipping
Complimentary standard shipping is available on Australian orders $199 AUD and over.
Complimentary shipping terms:
- The order subtotal must meet the $199 AUD threshold (excluding shipping charges).
- Complimentary shipping applies to Standard Delivery only.
- Available only for orders placed on royaldoulton.com.au and delivered to an Australian address.
- We reserve the right to remove or change the availability for complimentary shipping at any time.
All orders ship from our warehouse in Huntingwood, NSW Australia and are shipped to a single address. You can choose from three different shipping options:
Standard Delivery within Australia - Free for orders over $199
Standard Delivery within Australia - $14.95
We will endeavour to deliver your purchase to you promptly, however, all shipments may be subject to delays during peak periods or when shipped to regional areas. The following standard delivery times within Australia are estimates only:
METRO AREAS (Sydney, Melbourne, Brisbane, Canberra, Perth, Adelaide, Darwin, and Hobart): 2 – 7 business days.
NON-METRO AREAS: 3 – 10 business days.
Please allow up to 5 extra days during sale periods.
National Express Delivery - $24.95
Please allow an extra day for processing and preparation of your order. Most express orders are shipped from our premises the next business day.
Same Day Delivery -
Sydney Metropolitan Areas
Delivery and handling fee - $49.99
Available in Sydney metropolitan areas only. This option is available when a qualified postcode is entered at checkout.
Weekdays - order before 12pm Sydney time, for delivery before 9pm on the same day.
Weekend deliveries are currently unavailable.
No PO boxes or parcel lockers.
International Delivery
Available for New Zealand only, at a cost of $49.99 AUD
Personalised Orders - Express delivery is not available for personalised/engraved orders as they require 7 additional business days of production time prior to shipment. Personalised/engraved products will be shipped with non-engraved products in the same order.
Please ensure you enter the correct delivery address as parcels that are returned to us as undeliverable will incur a re-despatch fee. Subject to our Returns Policy, freight charges paid for the original despatch are not refundable.
3. Royal Doulton Outlet Shipping Policy
(Applicable to Outlet‑only orders)
Delivery within Australia
Standard delivery is charged at a flat rate as follows:
- $14.95 AUD for deliveries within NSW, ACT, VIC, QLD and SA
- $19.95 AUD for deliveries within WA, TAS and NT
Estimated delivery times:
- Metro areas: 2–7 business days
- Non‑metro areas: 3–10 business days
- Please allow up to 5 additional business days during sale periods
International Delivery
- Available to New Zealand only
- Flat rate of $49.99 AUD
4. General Shipping Information
- All orders are dispatched from our warehouse in Huntingwood, NSW, Australia.
- Orders are shipped to one delivery address only.
- Tracking information will be provided via email once your order has been dispatched so you can follow your parcel all the way on www.auspost.com.au. We cannot guarantee local delivery conditions, and so cannot provide a guaranteed delivery time at the customer/recipient address.
- Delivery timeframes are estimates only and may vary during peak periods or for regional deliveries.
- Royal Doulton does not accept responsibility for deliveries left unattended where authority to leave has been provided.
- If a product is unavailable at the time of dispatch, customers will be contacted by phone or email to arrange next steps.

Standard Delivery within Australia
Delivery to PO Boxes is only available to Australian deliveries.
We use Australia Post for all standard deliveries within Australia. Australia Post delivers during normal business hours. If you are not at home when the goods are delivered, Australia Post will leave a card informing you of how to collect your goods at a specified location during normal business hours or to arrange a suitable re-delivery time.
If at Checkout you give "Authority to Leave" your parcel if not home, a signature is not required on delivery and your package will be left at a suitable place at your delivery address. If the Australia Post contract driver cannot identify a suitable place to leave your package and deems the goods will not be secure if left, your package will be delivered to the post office for collection and a card will be left.
If products are in stock they will normally be despatched within 3 working days of accepting your order and after despatch should arrive within 2 – 10 business days depending on your location, longer for International orders.
*Delivery Times are estimates only and are based on assuming regular business operations, excluding weekends, holidays and unexpected warehouse closures. Delivery estimates are in no way a guaranteed delivery date. Once orders are picked up by Australia Post, we are not responsible for delays caused by unforeseen circumstances with the delivery carrier, incorrect/undeliverable shipping addresses, weather and other natural causes, or other factors outside our control.
Express Post
Delivery is available to metropolitan areas only.
Delivery to PO Boxes or Parcel Lockers is NOT available for express services.

Customers in areas who qualify for Express Delivery will be able to select this option at Checkout.
We use StarTrack Express for all express deliveries, if you are not at home when the goods are delivered, the driver will leave a card informing you of how to collect your goods at a specified location during normal business hours or to arrange a suitable re-delivery time.
If at Checkout you give "Authority to Leave" your parcel if not home, a signature is not required on delivery and your package will be left at a suitable place at your delivery address. If the driver cannot identify a suitable place to leave your package and deems the goods will not be secure if left, your package will be delivered to the post office for collection and a card will be left.
International Delivery - Delivery outside Australia (New Zealand only)
International Delivery is charged at a flat fee as follows:
- $49.99 AUD for all deliveries to New Zealand
We cannot deliver to PO Boxes outside Australia, therefore a residential or business address is required.
Delivery is provided by DHL or DSV couriers. If you are not at home when the goods are delivered, our couriers will leave a card.
Customs and Duty Charges
International orders may be subject to local tax, charges and customs duties. Any such costs and associated fees, if applicable, will be charged once the goods reach its destination country. These charges must be paid by the recipient of the goods. We have no control over these charges and cannot predict what they will be.
We cannot be held responsible for any additional charges on your order, nor can we accept a return of the order in this case. Customs policies vary widely from country to country, so please contact your local customs office for further information.
All Pricing
The product prices quoted on our website are in Australian dollars the same for both Australian and overseas customers. We do not adjust the prices for GST and you are responsible for any local tax, charges or custom duties.
