Our delivery partner Australia Post is working hard to ensure you receive your items as quickly as possible.
The best way to track your deliveries is through Australia Post’s mobile app. Get expected delivery dates, localised service updates and stay notified if things change.
You can also track your parcels on auspost.com.au by using the tracking tool.
These Shipping & Delivery Terms apply to purchases made on royaldoulton.com.au/outlet, including orders containing products from both royaldoulton.com.au/outlet and royaldoulton.com.au.
1. Determination of Applicable Shipping Policy
Shipping fees, delivery options and eligibility for complimentary shipping are determined by the type of products in your order, as follows:
Brand Products Only (royaldoulton.com.au)
Orders containing only Royal Doulton Brand products are subject to the Royal Doulton Brand Shipping Policy.
Outlet Products Only (royaldoulton.com.au/outlet)
Orders containing only Royal Doulton Outlet products are subject to the Royal Doulton Outlet Shipping Policy and are not eligible for complimentary shipping.
Orders containing only Outlet products are not eligible for complimentary shipping, even where the order value exceeds $199 AUD. We reserve the right to remove or change the availability of complimentary shipping at any time.
Mixed Orders (Brand + Outlet Products)
Where an order contains both Brand and Outlet products, the Royal Doulton Brand Shipping Policy will apply to the entire order, including all Outlet items.
Complimentary standard shipping is available where an order includes one or more Royal Doulton Brand products and meets the minimum spend threshold of $199 AUD. We reserve the right to remove or change the availability of complimentary shipping at any time.
2. Royal Doulton Outlet Shipping Policy
(Applicable to Outlet-only orders)
Delivery within Australia
- $14.95 AUD for deliveries within NSW, ACT, VIC, QLD and SA
- $19.95 AUD for deliveries within WA, TAS and NT
Estimated delivery times within Australia
- Metro Areas: 2–7 business days
- Non-Metro Areas: 3–10 business days
Please allow up to 5 additional business days during sale periods.
Outlet-only orders are not eligible for complimentary shipping offers.
3. Royal Doulton Brand Shipping Policy
(Applicable to Brand-only orders and mixed orders)
Complimentary Shipping
Complimentary standard shipping is available on Australian orders over $199 AUD.
Complimentary Shipping Terms
- The order subtotal must meet the $199 AUD threshold (excluding shipping charges)
- Complimentary shipping applies to Standard Delivery only
- Available only for orders placed on royaldoulton.com.au and delivered to an Australian address
- Outlet-only orders are excluded from complimentary shipping offers
- We reserve the right to remove or change the availability of complementary shipping at any time.
All orders ship from our warehouse in Huntingwood, NSW Australia and are shipped to a single address.
You can choose from the following shipping options:
Standard Delivery within Australia
- Free for eligible orders over $199 AUD
- $14.95 AUD for orders under $199 AUD
We will endeavour to deliver your purchase to you promptly; however, shipments may be subject to delays during peak periods or when shipped to regional areas.
Estimated delivery times within Australia
- Metro Areas (Sydney, Melbourne, Brisbane, Canberra, Perth, Adelaide, Darwin and Hobart): 2–7 business days
- Non-Metro Areas: 3–10 business days
Please allow up to 5 additional business days during sale periods.
National Express Delivery – $24.95 AUD
Please allow an extra business day for processing and preparation of your order. Most express orders are dispatched the next business day.
Same Day Delivery – Sydney Metropolitan Areas
Delivery and handling fee: $49.99 AUD
- Available in Sydney metropolitan areas only (eligible postcodes at checkout)
- Weekdays: Order before 12pm Sydney time for delivery before 9pm the same day
- Weekend deliveries are currently unavailable
- PO Boxes and parcel lockers are not permitted
Personalised Orders
Express Delivery is not available for personalised or engraved orders, as these require an additional 7 business days for production prior to dispatch.
Personalised or engraved products will be shipped together with non-engraved products in the same order.
Please ensure you enter the correct delivery address, as parcels returned to us as undeliverable may incur a re-dispatch fee. Subject to our Returns Policy, original freight charges are non-refundable.
4. International Delivery
International delivery is available to New Zealand only.
International Shipping Rates
- Flat rate of $49.99 AUD for all deliveries to New Zealand
International Delivery Conditions
- We cannot deliver to PO Boxes outside Australia; a residential or business address is required
- Tea leaf and tea bag products cannot be delivered outside Australia
- Delivery is provided by DHL or DSV couriers
- If you are not home at the time of delivery, the courier will leave a card with collection or re-delivery instructions
5. General Shipping Information
- All orders are dispatched from our warehouse in Huntingwood, NSW Australia
- Orders are shipped to one delivery address only
- Tracking information will be provided via email once your order has been dispatched
- Delivery timeframes are estimates only and may vary during peak periods or for regional deliveries
- We cannot guarantee local delivery conditions or delivery times once parcels have been handed to the carrier
Please ensure you enter the correct delivery address, as parcels returned to us as undeliverable may incur a re-dispatch fee. Subject to our Returns Policy, original freight charges are non-refundable.
Royal Doulton does not accept responsibility for deliveries left unattended where authority to leave has been provided.
If a product is unavailable at the time of dispatch, customers will be contacted by phone or email to arrange next steps.
6. Customs and Duty Charges
International orders may be subject to local taxes, charges and customs duties. Any such charges are the responsibility of the recipient and may be payable once the goods reach the destination country.
We have no control over these charges and cannot predict what they may be.
We cannot be held responsible for any additional charges incurred on international orders, nor can we accept returns due to customs or duty charges. Customs policies vary between countries, so please contact your local customs office for further information.
If customs charges are refused and the parcel is abandoned or returned, Royal Doulton cannot be held responsible for any resulting loss of funds.
7. All Pricing
All prices displayed on our website are in Australian Dollars (AUD).
Product pricing is the same for both Australian and overseas customers. Prices are not adjusted for GST, and international customers are responsible for any applicable local taxes, customs duties or import charges.
